Brainstorm Blog #3

My theme will be childhood memories and how we romanticized life when we were younger. The film will start with me waking up in my apartment and then the window view is of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I do not notice the change of scenery because I am so wired to a repetitive daily routine, that I do not even bother to look up and see any changes. Then I will go into the living room and begin studying with one of my roommates when we spark up a conversation about our mundane lifestyle of doing school work, going to work, and trying to live on our own. Then when I am looking through one of my school books a copy of the Daily Prophet will fall out. This is the strong shift from regular life to now being a witch in a day dream. Some iconic scenes I would like to include are buying a wand, trying butterbeer, and having a duel with another wizard. I could use locations like the library, the field, and the apartment. Then after loads of fun, I will suddenly switch back to reality. I will be confused and sad, but then realize I can romanticize my own life. I have many props for this video, such as wands, magical books, and more. Maybe when I switch back to reality it’s after I faint and wake up at platform 9 and ¾ where Dumbeldore gives me wisdom of life. This project seems difficult with all the animation, however I am excited to go through the process!
