Project 4 Brainstorm

I want to set up my “choose your own adventure” website as a game. My theme is surviving a zombie apocalypse. The player will be given a prompt “You wake up in a Zombie Apocalypse…”  and the player will have to choose their outfit, their weapon, and outdoor gear. I want to keep the game classic and add a lot of pop culture references that my generation will understand. When I think of GIFs I think of the beginning era of the internet, where everything wants to pop out and capture your attention. The last animation project was fantasy-themed (Harry Potter) and I want to keep to the theme of fantasy/science fiction for this project as well. I know I want to include characters and symbols from zombie pop culture, such as The Walking Dead, Maze Runner, Zombieland, 5th Wave, Call of Duty, Zombies vs. Plants, and Warm Bodies. I also want to include some of my favorite pop stars that do not necessarily relate to zombies to show some of my personality and interests. I am very excited about this project because I know I will use the skills I learned outside the classroom. Being able to make your own gifs is a very niche skill and knowing how to build a social media platform is very important for any job.
